Available PRiVCY Mining Pools

Recommended Posts

Currently we have around five different mining pools available to mine PRiV on.

YoungWebs(PRiVCYPool) - 0% Fee! - https://privcypool.youngwebsolutions.com/

CVMPool - 1% Fee  https://cvmpool.pw/

GOS Pool - 0.9% Fee.  https://www.gos.cx/

Zergpool - Multi-Algo/MultiCoin/AutoExchange Options - 0.5% Fee - http://zergpool.com/

StarPool - Multi-Algo/MultiCoin/AutoExchange Options - 0.1% Fee - https://www.starpool.biz/

Many great pools to choose from! If you have X13 ASICs I would recommend YoungWebs pool personally. Myself I use ZergPool or StarPool and their auto-exchange option as I do not have any GPU Mining rigs or X13 ASICs. I mine PRiV with an Antminer S9 and currently am netting 130+ PRiV/Day with one S9 🙂

All pool websites give implicit instructions on how to mine no matter if your using GPU rig or ASICs. Very simply laid out plug and play 🙂

Happy Mining!

Another option I have been using lately for "mining" PRiVCY with my SHA256 miners (Antminer S9, etc) is to mine at Starpool letting the pool do the profit switching and using DGB as my payout coin. I have it set to payout to my  DGB wallet address at Crex24. I then sell the DGB, and buy PRiVCY with the proceeds. I seem to be ending up with the same, or maybe a little more PRiVCY in the long run, and I figure that I'm leaving the PRiVCY there at Starpool for people who need to use the auto exchange option. There is also the effect of putting in buy orders for PRiVCY which is another plus, and creates exchange volume, which is another win as far as I'm concerned. Whenever I put in a buy order, I split the difference between the highest buy order and the lowest sell order, so it always brings the price up a little bit also. It feels like a winning strategy to me, and the more patience you have, the better it works out.

Is it worth mining with a couple of R9 280X's?

I quit GPU mining a few years ago now but they're just sitting in my PC doing nothing much :)

Only if you have really cheap energy. You can give it a try on my pool, but I expect revenues will be really low compared to costs.
It's only interesting for GPU's to gain experience or to expect a hugh price increase in the future!

PS, I use SGminerPH for my Radeon r290

I had a mini GPU farm a few years back but electricity costs in Australia combined with asics being introduced meant it was no longer viable.

It was very profitable for a while though, even mining shitcoins :)

Just for fun I started mining Priv with my little 1060 GPU, following the tutorial (https://medium.com/@SenseiCyber/how-to-mining-privcy-coin-35ee3e6850d4) worked pretty good. The suggested pool wasn't the best choice and I ended up going with https://www.gos.cx/

I will keep track for a couple of days and report back how it is going.  Follow along at https://www.gos.cx/?address=P9d1duaMcw1CSmmvYkrumTzVCeiewLqcam

I am expecting to make about 10 Priv a day based on what this same card would mine on Monero.

After about 24 hours of mining I earned 0.109 PriVCY

Not very economical.  This was with a single 1060.

While we lost zergpool as an autoexchange pool, due to them shutting down, we have gained a new option, as http://blockmasters.co/

now has PRiVCY as an autoexchange option. This means that even if you don't have an X13 miner, you can still get paid in PRiVCY mining with whatever miner you do have. We are also on https://www.starpool.biz/

as an autoexchange option, so there are choices available to you if you want to mine PRiVCY, even if you don't have a Baikal.
